Best Resturants in Glasgow

Glasgow has so much to offer when it comes to food, there's so many different types of cuisine to try. I have lots of favourites however, here are some of the best resturants in Glasgow...in my opinion.

1. Italian

There are so many good Italian's in Glasgow the choice can be hard, I have picked three of the best to try for food.

- Celinos Parick

Celinos is a good all rounder, good for families, dates, dinner with friends. There restaurant is spacious and located in Partick. I usually go for the carbonara or a pizza when I visit and it has never disappointed.

- Sarti's Glasgow Centre

Sarti's is your classic old school Italian restaurant, located in the city centre they serve up fresh Italian food. With cosy vibes inside it makes for a great date night spot, or if your like me I visited here with friends for a catch up and it was so good. I got the filled ravioli which were huge and so delicious. They also offer gluten free alternatives which is so nice, meaning you can still enjoy a good Italian's.

- Bar Vini Southside

I have spoke about Bar Vini before but had to give it another mention as one of my favourite Italian's, serving up pasta and great sides it is a must for Italian food in the Southside. Cosy vibes inside and great staff serving you.

2. Japanese

- Nippon Kitchen Glasgow Centre

Nippon kitchen is located in the centre of Glasgow and offers a chic dining experience. I often visit here with my friends and we each pick two dishes to try. They offer your classics like katsu curry as well as sushi, ramen, rice dishes and other Japanese dishes.

- Temaki Glasgow

Located right by Glasgow Central Temaki is the perfect cosy spot for some great Japanese food. I often grab some sushi to take home with me before getting the train but you can sit in and enjoy the food as well. The spicy chicken rolls from here are so good and it is all made to order.

- Okome Glasgow

With a few locations around Glasgow Okome is a more chilled Japanese, perfect for lunch or a chilled dinner vibe. They do lunch time special deals where you can get a main and a side for a great price. Avaliable for sit-in or takeaway it is a great spot to grab and go or enjoy a meal inside.

3. Mexican

- Mezcal Glasgow Centre

Located near central station Mezcal is a great spot for a fun date night or dinner with friends. Offering freshly made Mexican food and some good drinks it is a must if you like Mexican. I love the frozen margs from here as well as the steak tacos.

- Bar Burrito Glasgow Centre

A quick grab and go food stop is bar burrito. I don't know why but I always end up here with my brother, whether he is picking me up from town and we grab a burrito on the way home or during freshers week they do a £1 burrito for students so we always get that. The food is so filling and also so good.

- Sacred Tums Tacos Southside

Located on Victoria road Sacred Tums is the perfect spot for a sunny day. Grab some tacos and head to the park to enjoy them. They sell fresh tacos until the sell out, offering around 4-5 different styles to try. The perfect summer spot.

I hope this helps when it comes to the hunt for the perfect food spot, let me know your favourite spots in Glasgow for me to try next :)
